Material for unit 6 was pretty straight forward to someone whose first language is English. There were some fun games that were mentioned to help the students get more familiar with using past tenses. Discussing past holidays and major events stuck out for me, because this gives a chance to use past tense for real life scenarios. Talking about what happened in the news this past week or over the weekend. They can talk about several events around the world to keep students informed. Of course, this would also depend on the level of the class on what topics would be discussed.
