In this unit we learned the different forms of testing that will be used for testing students. There are placement tests to see what level of fluency a student has and to determine what class they should be placed in; also, there are diagnostic tests at the start of a course to see what the teacher should focus on teaching based on their performance of the test, progress tests to see how they are progressing throughout the course and what will perhaps need to be re-taught, and then there are practice tests in preparation for examinations.
