This unit we studied past sentences.
Past simple; its used for actions completed at a definitive time in the past.
Past continuous: Used without a time expression, it can indicate gradual development that took place in the past.
Past perfect; A action finished before another past action to start.
Past perfect continuous: To talk about longer actions or situations in the past that had been going on continuosly up to the past moment that we are thinking about.
