This is an excellent Unit One because of the basic nature of the descriptions of "good" and "bad" teaching. It is helpful to also understand that different countries/cultures will view things differently and be different to work with. Those of us that are well traveled understand the cultural differences and how to not offend. It is helpful to know about ages of learners and how that effects the abilities and interests.
