This unit was about managing classrooms and covered many of the techniques I currently use while teaching including how to deal with large classes, students of varying abilities and problem students. The unit also covered methods to decrease teacher talk time and increase student talk time which is particularly important in my current role as a language assistant focused on oral production. The most useful section was about teacher position i.e sitting or standing/eye contact and how this can affect the progress of a lesson and the student's confidence during different activities
