In this unit, I felt I learned a lot of unique and efficient ways to help students learn the language content. Learning about the ESA methodology made me realize the familiarity of the structure when I was learning Japanese. Reflecting on this allowed me to think of ways I could make the lesson my own when teaching to students. I also recognized some of the activity ideas for each phase as games I used to play when I was younger. Making these connections really helped me in understanding the contents of this unit on a deeper level and how helpful they can be to students.
