Grammar is a crucial part of the English language. Understanding the nuances is what truly determines success. Although the composition of a sentence might be regarded as easy to a native speaker when the elements required are examined it soon becomes clear that even the simplest sentences requires technical knowledge of the language for it to be communicated well. In this unit I was reminded of exactly what is required to form sentences and engage in conversations, a skill which has honestly been taken for granted before this, but the importance of which was highlighted during this unit.
