This unit covered the different types of evaluation and testing at the start, during and finale of the course. It also covered external exams such a Cambridge exams for English proficiency. Testing can be beneficial as it allows the teacher to gauge the students level and place them in the appropriate class. Testing during the course can show the material students are remembering well and where they are struggling and external tests such as Cambridge officially attest to the language level the student has attained and can be used later in life for work or university.
