In this lesson I learned ways to incorporate vocabulary and grammar in a practical and pragmatic way. For many ESL students vocabulary might seem very difficult. I learned that although it may be alien to a student, if we relate vocabulary as best as we can to their native language students will have a easier time picking up words. By drilling these vocabulary words in the study phase and putting them to use in the activate phase we are able to teach the student how and when to use different words and grammatical structures.
