English pronunciation is really difficult to teach. In this unit we learnt about the techniques for teaching intonation and stress and how the meaning of a sentence changes depending on the word stressed and how to teach this to the students. The phonemic alphabet was really like learning a different language and it will be a challenge to teach this to the students as I am still in the process of learning it!
