Present tense can be a particularly challenging concept for English language learners to master. This chapter introduces us to "present simple," "present continuous," "present perfect," and "present perfect continuous". The chapter has granted me a deeper understanding of how present tense functions within the English language, common mistakes, and the situations in which present tense is normally used. Now that I understand the mechanics of present tense, I can easily answer my student's questions.
