Unit 1 mainly describe the different kinds of teachers and students respectively, as well as the different level of English learner.
It also talks about the various roles of teacher and I would say that this unit helps me recognize of what kind of role I played as a
teacher inside the four corners of my classroom, I can confidently say that I experienced all those roles being an ESL teacher for
several years in my own country and abroad, I become very flexible in shifting my role depends on the student needs.
