This unit has given me some much needed refreshment with the present tense. I was unaware, before this unit's introduction, that English has so many tenses compared to other languages. It is a wonder that English, with all its complexities, is such a universally used tongue! Through this unit I have learned again about the differences between each form of the present tense and also about my own learning style and its development since my first exercises in grammar. When I learned the first time, I was merely echoing as children do, but now I see with adult perspective how the system works and what patterns to which I should pay attention.
