The information contained in structuring of the lesson was somewhat familiar. The caution to use it as a guide, record of information, tracking progress and ensuring readiness while being careful to include flexibility and adaptability. The lesson plan clarifies one's objectives and allows at least a contemplated and an outlined process to achieve the goals. It was a challenge to equate the lesson activities with the ESA subparts (Engage, Study and Activate). I think it is a good system but I will have to develop my acuity in this area. The difference in using "might" or "may" to express uncertainty versus and using the "going to" with evidence to predict was an interesting distinction because I have often used the different terminologies without knowing why I used them the way I do. Funny!
