Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

I found this unit very informative and interesting because although native English speakers don't generally learn the grammatical rules behind conditional and reported speech, they use them on a daily basis. The unit also illuminates the confusion that occurs when native speakers are not sure of the tules; for example, "If I was" or "If I were," I am often confused regarding the use of these terms as to which is correct and now I can also see the application in other languages! Another situation is where someone uses the present perfect tense, should the reported speech be in the present perfect or the past perfect? The unit gave me answers to such questions and uncertainties that often plagued my thinking. The unit also incorporates the "cyclical" strategy used in education by revisiting the unit on grammar and thereby refreshing one's memory and reiterating the information to deepen the learning of old material. It revisited the various parts of speech and the correct format of grammar involved with each. I do see and appreciate the need for going slow on the induction of the conditional and reported speech; it can be an enormous challenge for student learning English as a second language. If native speakers have not absorbed most of the usage of these forms of speech through the continual and common usage of these structures in the culture, it would equally be a magnanimous challenge for them.
