I found this section extremely helpful in visualizing what an actual experience might be teaching young and adult english learners. This lesson gave tangible examples of what you may come across when teaching various students in a number of different scenarios (i.e. business students, young children, 1-1 etc). I am not sure in what capacity I will be teaching, so this especially appealed to me because I now feel I have a better understanding of potential jobs I may take in the future. My preference would be 1-1 or business students because I like that in a 1-1 situation you are able to have a lot of time working with one student and you can tailor the lesson appropriately. I also like the idea of working with adults who have a specific job and function where they will be applying their english skills.
