Past tense can be very difficult to learn, mostly because there are many verbs that are irregular. For students this can be very stressing or demotivating. For this reason is very necessary to learn the verb forms in past and participle and to identify the different uses and forms of the past tenses. In my experience, the perfect tenses are a little complicated to illustrate to students, mainly the difference between the past simple and present perfect. For this, I think the samples for the activate stage will be very useful to reinforce these tenses.
