My classroom here in Japan is rather limited to either a chalkboard or a whiteboard, my schools here don't even have a projector, but I've made good use of pictures and other props. It was interesting to read about the added use for dictionaries, since usually my students just use an English-Japanese dictionary, they don't really get to learn anything other than the meaning. I'll consult with the other teachers and let them know of this other type.
