This unit describes the different methodologies of teaching as well as some successful techniques. I found this to be very helpful, I grew up in Canada speaking English and therefore it is my native language. I have never taught it and there were so many points in this section that I found helpful; for example, when to correct a student, and how to engage/praise students to keep them interested. The methodologies; using real objects, drawings, fun and simple games are all great examples and ones I found to be extremely helpful myself when I was learning Italian. This unit also gives an interesting cap on "points to bear in mind" especially being aware of the appropriate techniques to use for a certain level (beginner versus advanced).
