My understanding of this unit was the detailed explanation of the theories,methods,and techniques that have been effective in the past and that are still effective today. The method that is the most effective and the method that this course is based around is the ESA method (engage) (study) (activate). And many ideas for each phase of the ESA method were given and explained. I also learned the different ways in which this method can be used in lessons 'straight arrow','boomerang',and the 'patchwork' lessons. In unit two the process and importance of correction was explained in detail.
