This unit covered course books and lesson materials. It compared the use of authentic, and non-authentic materials in the classroom. Also, it introduced some advantages, and disadvantages of using course books. I have learned how to effectively choose course books, and the importance of being flexible as a teacher. It was extremely beneficial to learn the many aspects a teacher should keep in mind when choosing a course book as well as the options a teacher has to make the course book more relevant to your students.
