This unit went into the specifics of classroom management. Initially, from the unit name of "Classroom Management", I assumed that the unit would simply cover discipline; however it went into details about the pros and cons of seating arrangements, student talk time, teacher talk time, and even writing on the board. I learned many useful tips, such as, always add the student's name at the end of a question, rather than the beginning. This helps to keep the whole class alert since they won't know who the question is for, until the end. I also learned that it's okay to sit when monitoring students doing pairwork or different activate activities. Lastly I learned when disciplining, to focus on the behavior, not necessarily the student him/herself.
