In this unit I could see how relevant is the attitude of the teacher towards the students and the objectives of the class. In order to have a succesful class, the teacher has to be patient and understanding with the students' learning process. The gestures, the use of the space in the classroom, the eye contact, the speaking speed, etc., will affect the response and participation of the students. The students need to feel comfortable and confident in the class and with the teacher, so they are not intimidated or afraid of making mistakes or errors. The best for the student and the teacher is to create a safe environment so both can participate actively and effectively in the class and achieve the objectives expected.
