In this chapter, we learn some advantages and disadvantages of working with books and material. Material could be authentic, (magazines, newspapers, songs, brochures...), or created (flashcards, crosswords, picture stories...).we also overview the different types of books available in the market nowadays, and their applications. Although a course book not always fit the specific needs of a group of students, it´s easier to a teacher to conduct a well organized, continuing and progressive path of an English course.
