This unit covered current tense forms, split into 4 main types. Present simple, Present continuous, Present perfect and Present continuous perfect.
Within this chapter, the greatest asset to me moving forward I believe will be the information on useful activities to teach these fundamental building blocks of language. These are so inherent and common in English I have found it hard up until now to devise ways to strip away the possibility of more complex grammar and use only these core concepts in teaching. Other than that, the ability to recognize tenses in writing is something this unit has greatly improved my capacity for.
