This unit presents the complementary relationship between a good teacher and a good student, detailing the traits, roles, and responsibilities required to produce effective teaching and learning.
From this unit, I have learnt how to determine the language level of learners, which will be very helpful in choosing the appropriate classes, and corresponding learning materials and activities suitable for them.
Also, I now have a better understanding of the various and unique roles of a teacher fitting for a given classroom situation. This will not only help me facilitate my lessons more effectively while taking into consideration the various roles and how best to incorporate them during my lessons, but also help get my students motivated enough to produce desirable responses and results in class.
