This section is very informative in that it provides great inspiration for how we can effectively organize a classroom and the benefits associated with those different types of groupings. The material also delved into student talk time vs. teacher talk time and the pros and cons of both and how we can incentivize student talk time through our groupings of the class, how we structure study and activate phases (pair-work, individually, group work etc.). And last but certainly not least the material discussed some great techniques for both preventing and avoiding problems in classes arising from different variables in the students life. The section certainly made me think more of how my direction and organization of classes can really have an impact on the environment my students feel that they are in when in my class.
