In this unit, I have learnt about the resources available for teachers to use in the classroom, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. First, there are course books, which need to be chosen considering several factors, such as price, availability, methodology, difficulty, among others. Second, there are authentic materials, which need to be carefully selected according to the level of students. And finally, there are created materials, which can supplement or replace material from a course book and can be graded to the students’ level.
