This unit caused me to think about what makes for a successful teacher and motivate your students to learn. I am appreciating what a skill teaching is. I want to be aware of how to reach the students in manners what are kind, patient, gently correcting and creating a love of learning. It also makes me examine why I am so hesitant to want to learn other language- fear of losing face, being corrected and just putting myself out there to learn a new thing.
