The content of this unit introduced me to present tenses and how to use them. There are various forms of these present tenses, namely 4 with 3 forms each: Present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. The forms each may take on depends on the grammar point or tense in question, which may either be positive, negative or a questions form. Each of these tenses and their forms have specific uses and come along with typical errors a student may make when dealing with them. I have also found out about suitable activities or exercises I can use to teach students the various rules of these tenses and forms (both for lower levels and higher level English language students).
