It was helpful for me to learn more about the learner levels beginner, elementary,
pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate, and advanced and their abilities with language. It is good to know the differences of the levels. In addition, it was helpful to understand my roles as a teacher. It helps me better understand what students may need from me as their teacher. I'm thinking prompter, facilitator, and modeling will be used more often as these techniques will help keep students motivated to learn. In addition, I believe complimenting or giving praise will be helpful for students to feel good about their progress.
