This was by far the most challenging lesson to date. There are so many different things to consider when teaching non native speaker about how to create the right sounds, tone, emphasis, etc. so that they may speak fluently and without pause. Understanding how the mouth and interior structure works to create sound is also important to help students produce the right tone. It is reassuring that the end of the lesson acknowledges that perfection is not the goal, rather intelligibility is.
