Learning to sound like a native speaker is indeed possible but that will mean the person who wants to learn must or should be living in a native speaking country. I have learned not to be particular with perfection when it comes to speaking like the natives but to be intelligible. Because most people who desire to speak English are not learning to be perfect but to be able to communicate with other speakers of English.From this lesson, I have learned that to be good at transcription, one will need to know the phonemic chart properly and be able to apply it.
