This unit is about Past Tenses. There are four past tenses :past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. The usages of them and typical students errors , as well as sample activate stage teaching ideas are introduced. I learned that using card games---matching the verb and its irregular past form is an interesting and effective way to help students remember different verb past form. And I also learned the differences between past simple and present perfect, past and past perfect.
