All I can think of when reading this unit is how terrible the textbooks I'm forced to use are and how many things they don't accomplish. Obviously, this means I need to create more supplementary materials, but I already knew this. The rest of the unit is mostly just examples of activities, so there wasn't really a lot covered. I guess the main thing I learned was the things to look for in a course book, but I don't have the authority to choose one anyways.
