This unit has reminded me of one of the most memorable things I learned while I was still studying to become a teacher, “there is no accidental teaching for even accidental instances are being anticipated to”, and Unit 9 emphasized in me the importance of having a lesson plan so as to plan the learning experiences I intend my students to experience and as well as to even plan for the unplanned instances that may happen. The value of lesson planning lies in its capacity become flexible, goal-oriented, varied (in terms of skills development) and balanced in terms of activities so to provide an optimal learning experience to the students as well as to the teachers handling the class.
