This unit showed why productive skills are important. The basic for speaking and writing skills are the same but they have differences. For speaking skills we would focus of accuracy and fluency. For writing skill one would focus on handwriting, spelling, and punctuation. Both of these are equally important because they can be used in different situations. Speaking can be used everyday to communicate with others. Writing can also be used everyday, but would focus maybe on a letter that needs to be written or a note, when the other person is not face-to-face with you.
