In unit 12 teaching productive skills we learned about speaking a writing and how to teach it. Within the category of productive skills there are both fluency and accuracy activities. Prior to this lesson I would have thought of these two activities as being synonymous, thinking that accuracy in the speaking and writing of a language would lead to fluency of that language. Also having been a student not that long ago I like the idea of using games to motivate students to learn a new language. I do not remember my Spanish classes in high school incorporating that many games into the lessons, had that been the case maybe my Spanish speaking abilities would be better.
