In this unit, it tells us how teach new language structure such as: vocabulary, grammar, and language function. I found it useful for me to consider the factors to select the words to teach my students. I learned that I should consider the appropriacy to the students, to the task; consider the frequency and coverage and whether or not it is teachable for students to select vocabulary. I also learned how we can use typical ESA such as straight arrow, ESA boomerang and ESA patchwork for our teaching. I have a better understanding of teaching a new language class look like. With all of the activities suggested in each stage of teaching, I believe my teaching can have more choices. The information is really useful in this unit.
