Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit was mainly about the idea that coursework either can be standardized - and recommended by the teacher or school - or developed out of whole cloth by the teacher. This coursework generally consisting of a teacher's guide, a student's workbook, and a student's study guide. However, course material can also consist of authentic materials such as newspaper or magazine articles printed for general public consumption that can be adapted to TEFL lesson-plans, or inauthentic materials developed specifically by the teacher for a specific set of students for the study of English according to their level and specific topic of a lesson. The decision involves many factors, including: the cost and availability of a given curriculum; the cultural appropriateness of a given curriculum, the quality of a given curriculum - meaning is it amenable to the ESA lesson style; the type of lessons to be taught in a given course; and the level of English of the students. Course material has been tried and tested, is generally graded to different students' levels, and makes evaluation relatively simple. However, these course guides are made for general student levels and may not meet the specific needs of a given set of students -- and so, when used, should not be slavishly followed with no deviations. Teachers should also adjust to meet a given class levels, and/or supplement with their own materials. Students also generally appreciate when teachers develop at least some of their own curriculum, and while it may be more convenient for less experienced teachers to depend on a standard curriculum, lessons based solely on such curriculum can come off as stale; and teachers can get lazy by depending solely on such curriculum. The rest of this lesson - roughly half the material presented in this unit - was the reprinting and presentation of various coursework material from other education companies.
