In this unit I learned how to describe properly each of the past tenses such as past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous.
I also learned good activities for activating the student’s attention. I personally liked the idea of playing a detective game with the students so they are able to use past continuous tense.
And finally this lesson helped me with little but helpful tips to help students to differentiate or remember each of the past tenses such as if the sentence includes the word “ago” the sentence is high probably to be past simple and that Past perfect tense is “the past in the past”. These tips are easy to remember.
