This section was very useful in understand the various tests given to students and the appropriate time and place to administer them. Students have different motivations, therefore, knowing what their interests are for learning English will give teachers a better understanding of what tests are appropriate for their students. I learned that different countries have different tests, such as the Trinity ESOL Skills for Life test given to people 16 years and older who move to the UK and intend on building a life there.
