Unit seven mainly talked about the main four basic skills in any language ?which are listening, reading which considers as receptive skills, also ?productive skills which are speaking, writing which are all equally ?important.?
This unit mainly focused on the receptive skills and shows the reasons for ?reading and listening such as, to know or to precede some instructions, ?directions or home address, or listening to a story or watching movie or ?reading a novel or for specific information to check money exchange rate ?scanning for information like football game result or for skimming to get ?general information understanding.?
The unit also talked about opisticals with listening and reading and gives ?suggestions how to make it more easily ,effectively and interesting by pre-?teaching vocabulary, good selection of text to create more interesting ?topics, variation the type of materials, tasks that aid understanding
