This section was a challenge because there were a number of different concepts that I have not had much practice with recently (i.e. direct speech/reported speech, etc). As native English speakers we don't think of these things very often, such as the changes you make to verb tense and what changes to make to a phrase when reporting speech of a direct speech sentence. I found this to be very helpful in understanding the different between direct speech and reported speech and how to better explain this to students.
