The video clearly shows that the teachers attitude can make or break a class. In the first lesson he was very rude and students responded with being intimidated or confused, I can tell that they still tried. In the second lesson however, they felt confident and welcomed as Simon did not tell them they were outright wrong or got their names confused. During the activate phase of lesson two, I would have liked for Simon to give some empty bingo boxes for students to fill out their own ideas, that way they can practice the language in their own way and other students have to be aware of the language their peers are using.
