In this unit I was given the opportunity to reflect on some of the points concerning the receptive skills primarily. I say that only because I have a four year old daughter, and she is a perfect student to try these skills or to test these skills. I have found that because she is only 4, I have to ensure, just as the rules apply pick topics that she will remain interested in. I think that going through this lesson has given her confidence in speaking, but has also given me confidence that I can effectively teach this.
