I found this unit to be challenging and confusing; however, it was presented in a clear and organized way that allowed me to processes it. Having all of the main subjects start with "present" allowed my brain to mix up details of each section. But, through repetition I was able to resolve the mix ups. The present tense is able to convey things happening at this moment or facts with present simple. Present continues conveys things that are on going. Present perfect relates past event to the present. And Present perfect continuous relates past activities to the present that will be on going or happening for a very long time.
