This unit was by far the most interesting for me. This provided two examples of the same lesson in a classroom. It became very apparent that the teacher's attitude had a huge effect on the outcome of the class. This real life example shows how important a simple gesture can be. In the first lesson, the instructor is stiff, cold and doesn't smile. There is a blatant difference in the class' participation as he encourages the students and smiles.
