This unit is very much interesting because students' progress or achievement is an important component of evaluation. This includes the measurement and analysis of information about student learning. Through the help of this unit, I was able to know more about the 4 kinds of tests that I can use in class such as placement tests. As teachers, we need to know what and how much students have learned in order to monitor the effectiveness of instruction, to plan ongoing instruction and for accountability purposes.
