The content of this unit covered the qualities and roles of both the teacher and the students. It also explained the differences between learners and teachers. As a result a good teacher knows how to switch between roles when leading out in a lesson to meet the needs of all her students. A caring teacher should love teaching and motivate her students to love learning too. The unit also gives clear distinctions between language levels of ability and how students are often grouped. To conclude it briefly discussed the many reasons why students are motivated to study English.
